Perhaps the object referred to is actually the lightbeam object that's part
of a sample scene included with 3.5SA.  I can't remember the exact name of
the scene (only remember the five days it took to render the complete
animation.  :) ) but there is a scene that has two moving lightbeams.  Look
in the SCENES directory if I remember right...
